I'm currently working on the next zine, and the topic is going to be trips to aquariums. Last time, I used Procreate to draw a camping zine, but I faced technical difficulties when I did test prints. So this time, I decided to go back to traditional mediums. I'm hoping, fingers crossed, to have all 24 pages completed and printed before Ani-Me Con in mid-March. However, I'll be visiting TW for two weeks in mid-February, so that limits the available days to work on it. It's going to be another significant challenge, but I'm actually feeling excited to see how far I can go. (01/20/2023)

Here's the current progress I'm at now - the first layer of the two pages. So far, I've spent one full day on each page. To be honest, my stomach has been filled with butterflies. The painting doesn't feel right. I've been studying several watercolor artists I admire to figure out what went wrong. I believe a crucial aspect of selling my artwork is that I need to genuinely like it, so I can feel proud and happy to sell them. I'm worried that I won't make it to the deadline I set for myself. 😰
Using our game room set up to be one of the pages.
Additionally, after finishing it, I realized that the order and design should be redone to make more sense. I had to redraw this page, and I did so after returning from the trip.
I always listen to AC or soft music when I need to concentrate. 🥰
I think I draw efficiently late at night because the time for the day is running out! 🤣 Do I look calm here? I am panicking thinking the 2nd page still didn't turn out right!
Practices before starting. It is for me to get to use painting the background color.
