Day 5:

I started late yesterday so I only got through half of the coloring. I just finished it now. I totally enjoyed the fun. 🥳

Day 4:

Inspired by Sammi Cheng + Balenciaga denim top. It immediately reminds me of a beloved character Best Jeanist.

Let me try my best to tell you the struggles and thoughts behind the painting. The prompt of my Inktober is to design and be true for 31 days. Anime and games are literally my everyday life thus it's just hard to avoid them.

Each drawing (so far) comes right off the moment. (I tried to plan ahead and that didn't work well for me). The brainstorm today went like "Han so Hee--> skirt blowing/movement --> poncho --> Mickey Mouse --> Kiki's Delivery Service." The image started to form in my head. This layout is challenging because of 1) light: night scene 2) perspective 3)fabric movement.

I think I kind of captured the image in my head but still not satisfied with my skill of drawing in general. I note them down so I can study in my spare time.
