The animal shelters I follow continue to share updates about a serious issue they’re facing: overcrowding. Many are waiving adoption fees to encourage people to adopt and help make room for more animals in need.

While I’m not in a position to adopt right now, I still wanted to find a way to help. That led to Furry Friends from the Shelters, an ongoing art project that began in 2024. The project features original artwork inspired by shelter animals, with 50% of the proceeds donated to the shelters they came from.

The collection below documents the paintings sold at conventions from 2024 to 2026.

Currently, my partner’s company also matches donations 100%, helping to double the impact of each contribution. Together, these efforts provide another way to support animal shelters and the animals in their care.
