PMX 20232- Day 1

Updated: Jan 10, 2023

This is my first con after the pandemic. Show with slow traffic is usually the best to chat around and make other vendor friends because most of us were bored.

As I mentioned previously that I am going to change my table display to focus more on the actual paintings, zines, and stickers. I want my table setup to feel like a cozy artistic zone. So I made a lot of written display signage, and of course, nobody reads them really. 😅

Attendees usually browse a round before they start purchasing. I had time to run out and buy coffee.

Maybe the air was too dry or I got too nervous or what, but I've been nose bleeding. That was very annoying!

At the end of the day, I have several transactions, including having 3 original paintings sold: Cammy, Mercedes, and Ingrid (on-site commission). I forgot to take photos of my paintings with the buyers 😢. But I am super grateful for their support. Thank you! 🥰

I think I did pretty well on the first day compared to the low foot traffic. Although I only had 1 donut and a cup of coffee throughout the show, I met new great artist friends. I'm so happy today. 😊
