This zine is about our first car camping experience. Check out our story and the rookie mistakes we made at Big Bear Lake!

A short clip of the zine. ❤️
► All camping zines were all sold out. Thank you so much for supporting.❤️
►► To customers who purchased the physical camping zine and want to color it, please use dry mediums (color pencils, crayons, etc.) to avoid bleed-through. The paper isn't thick enough to handle wet mediums (watercolors, markers, etc.).
Along with celebrating this small accomplishment, I have also designed three stickers to complement the theme of the zine. They are available in my shop. Thank you very much for your interest. ♡

► This is my first attempt at making a comic zine. It took me approximately three monthes to finish. Initially, I wanted to make pages available for coloring, but I underestimated the thickness of the papers. 😟
I’m new enough to make rookie mistakes while camping, and now I've made another with printing! 🫣
It’s best to color the zine with colored pencils.
Here’s my coloring sample. ヽ(•‿•)ノ
I have made this page available for download.
► References: I want to express my gratitude to my partner, who took numerous photos during the trip. Those photos brought back so many fresh memories and provided references that made designing so much easier.
► Procreate: Over the past couple of months, my main focus has been on creating the artwork for my zine. When I did a test print at the local library, I was surprised by how pixelated it looked. Searching for a solution, I reached out to another artist who showed me a way to avoid this issue. However, at that point, I didn't want to go through the entire process of redrawing the zine. Instead, I decided to see this as part of the learning process and an opportunity to improve from my mistakes. 🤷♀️
► Last image of the zine: The results from Procreate weren't satisfying to me due to my lack of proficiency, so I decided to redraw the last page on paper. I have much better control when using an actual pen and paper. (LOL)
